In the meantime, check out the first 3 issues over here
Check out this video sent in by our brother Rob Carley way across the Pacific and then some in Toronto, Canada.
Its got everything; John Coltrane, Charles Bukowksi, icy winter street lines at night and all in crisp black and white. There’s not enough of this kind of video in my opinion.
Enjoy

At the joint magazine launch and SBA Am series qualifier at Osborne last Saturday, we saw some heavy shredding from a massive cross-section of the skate scene here in Adelaide.
We gave out nearly 200 copies of the magazine, and were treated to one of the best contests I’ve ever seen in Adelaide. Without a doubt, the best vibe in a supposedly “competitive” environment, it was pretty much high fives between competitors all day in the searing heat. With something like 30 odd skaters entered in the opens and 20 odd in the juniors, we got to see a huge variety of styles and tricks going down. There is a rad wrap up over here on the SBA site so for now just enjoy a couple of shots from the day, and there are more over on the Facebook page
Big congrats to everyone who skated, the dudes heading over to Melbourne for the SBA final, and especially to the rad dudes at Skateboarding Australia. It was definitely one of the most well run events I’ve seen.
Results:
Juniors
1st Bradley Saunders 2nd Jay Runciman 3rd Zack Lycos 4th Callum Murray
Open

To coincide with the SBA state qualifiers we are releasing Issue 3 of Bigspin Magazine on Saturday the 23rd at Osborne Skate Park.
We’ll be running the BBQ again and giving out free copies of the mag. So get along and support Adelaide skateboarding and see some of the best battle it out for supremacy.
Hmm, there might even be a story in this for Issue 4….
If you can’t make it, we’ll be releasing the mag online at www.bigspinmagazine.com as usual.
In the meantime go check out Skateboarding Australia’s website at http://sba.org.au/ for comp updates and on their Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/skateboardingaustralia?fref=ts
